Why cant i edit my facebook marketplace listing

Hi guys,

I'm trying to edit listings of mine in the marketplace but for some reason everytime i go to 'update' it comes up with an error:

'1 error prohibited this product from being saved

There were problems with the following fields:

• You must choose a category for your product before it can be listed'

now i can understand this if i hadnt chosen a category... but i have, i've even tried different categories. nothing works. it just keeps giving me this error... i dont know what to do, if i cant update the listings then i cant sell them..

someone please help :(

I added two new items in the past two days and I didn't have any trouble getting them to update properly.  I know they have been working a LOT on the Marketplace systems so maybe something they've done has your account messed up.  I would try logging out of Marketplace, clearing my browser cache (you never know what kind of craziness THAT thing holds onto), close my browser, reopen my browser, and then relogging back into the Marketplace.  

Try to do the edit again.

Did it work?  Did it give you the error again?

I'm having the same issue.  I'm trying to update a few things and get the same error even though the items were already in a category.  When I try changing categories (to any category), the webpage is still showing an error.

Try this... I saw this mentioned somewhere and it worked for me.

Unlist the item and make your edits, including changing the Category.  Save the update.  Then List the item again.

This just worked perfectly for me with some mass updates.

I have a problem with the marketplace and if this is not the place to expose but do not quite understand where one can get help. So I hope that someone will read it and can advise me.

I changed the magic box for delivery dicert but I can not be deleted items of magic box, pressing "delete and go", get a message:.
"So sorry to keep you waiting.'ll Be right back!
We've been Notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly. ".
I deleted the terrain magic box. What else do I have to do? And another question, how to delete items that were accidentally created back in the list? (although they are inactive, I can not delete)

Go to magicbox status page https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=adminservers, scroll down to the bottom, remove your magicboxes listed in the registered servers section, go back to the manage listings page on the marketplace website and click on the "Sync Marketplace with Magicbox" button, then refresh the page. This should remove all the magicbox items shown in the unassociated inventory items section.

Hello ^. ^ Thank you very much for answering my question. At first I thought it might be that the solution but as in the video tutorial Torley said nothing about removing items from Xstreet thought surely it was all linked and I discarded the idea of my thinking. But I see that was the problem. Thank you very much for the help! A greeting.
