The band is the easiest part to replace and requires no tools. Be careful as the watch may fling out of the band when popping it off.

My strap broke after about 9 months so I bought a replacement band. I got the old one off completely on one side, but the clasp broke on the other. The new case I got completely envelopes it as opposed to clipping in, but the old clip makes it not fit snugly. Any suggestions on how to get it out?

It's also pretty dirty, so what's the recommended way to clean it? Thanks.

I've had my Samsung GearFit 2 for less than 2 years and the band broke off. The tracker isn't broken but I can't wear it on my wrist. Any ideas? Is this typical wear life?

No way to know how long the band will last since no-one but you can track how it was handled during the time you used it. About ideas, get it fixed or get a new one, really only two options I see.

I had the same problem but mine was undera year old! I contacted Samsung via a live webchat. I was given an email address and had to send my proof of purchase to it along with a reference number and they replaced the strap, it arrived yesterday and I only emailed them on Wednesday! Worth a try if you have your receipt?
