You need to enjoy British humor.Verified purchase
It's silly and just fun. Do not get the American version it is terrible and just copies directly what has already been done. I tend to re-watch seasons again about a year later.
If you like supercars and watching 3 guys breaking them it's great.

the reason why no episode 1 on season 6Verified purchase
For those of you who are confused as to why the first episode is missing, it was done in respect to Rich Hammond who suffered near fatal injuries in a challah get to drive a jet dragster. A after two successful runs (2nd achieving an unofficial British land speed record of 301+ mph), the car had a blowout on the right steer tire at over 280 mph, thus propelling the car off the track and almost killing him. He was in hospital for some time, nevertheless he made a full recovery, though the doctors feared brain damage. To this date, the show has never been re-aired by a promise from his copresenters and BBC.

I like TG and have been a fan for years. I've wanted earlier series for a while since they started selling in the US and thought I'd give this format a try so I could get some of James' first outings.
I was disappointed. The exclusion of Hammond's dragster accident is not explained, I had to go look up why it isn't here. It would be worth seeing.
I cannot export the files out of the Amazon-only paddock on my hard drive. I BOUGHT this content, it is MINE now. Not being able to move it around so I can play it on a different device is WRONG. I absolutely hate this and will never, ever tolerate another Amazon Unbox offering again.

WARNING: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!Verified purchase
Perfect binge watching material for gearheads with a juvenile sense of humor. Could have been titled "The 3 Stooges Drive Some Cars". If that concept doesn't appeal to you, you will probably won't be charmed by the nonsense generated by Clarkson, Hammond and May, but as for me, I'm addicted and perfectly alright with that.
