Method 1 Method 1 of 4:Stats for Spotify

  1. 1

Go to //www.statsforspotify.com in a web browser. Unlike Spotify Wrapped, which only shows your data for each year, you can use Stats for Spotify all year long. You can even compare your stats to your past visits to see how your tastes change over time.

    • You can use this site on any computer, phone, or tablet.

  2. 2

Click Login with Spotify. It's the green button at the center of the page.

  3. 3

Log in with your Spotify account. If you're not signed into Spotify in your web browser, follow the on-screen instructions to sign in now.

  4. 4

Click Agree to give Stats for Spotify permission to view your account. If you're already signed in, you'll see some information about the type of permissions Stats for Spotify needs to show you your stats. By continuing, you're giving this web app permission to view your activity on Spotify.

    • The site is widely used, so it's not shady to do, and you can remove the app's access to your account at //spotify.com/account if you don't want to use it anymore.
    • Stats for Spotify will not be able to see your password or make billing changes to your account.

  5. 5

Click the button for the stats you want to view. You can view your Top Tracks, Top Artists, or Top Genres.

  6. 6

Select a time period. Stats for Spotify lets you view your stats for the last 4 weeks, last 6 months, and all time.

    • The next time you sign in to check your stats, you'll see arrows next to the artists, songs, and genres on your list that indicate whether you've listened more or less frequently than last time.

Method 2 Method 2 of 4:Spotistats for Spotify [Backtrack]

  1. 1

Download the Spotistats for Spotify app from the App Store or Play Store. Spotistats for Spotify is a free app that gives you information similar to Spotify Wrapped all year round. You can get it by searching for "Spotistats for Spotify" in your phone or tablet's app store, or by visiting //spotistats.app and tapping the link for Google Play or App Store.

    • The developer of the app is listed as "Sjoerd Bolten." You may find apps with similar names, but this guide is for this particular app.
    • Spotistats for Spotify plans to change their name to Backtrack, so don't worry if you see that name come up when you search!

  2. 2

Open Spotistats for Spotify and tap Log in. You'll find the app in your app list once you've downloaded it.

    • You may have to give the app permission to open the Spotify login page to continue.

  3. 3

Log in to your Spotify account. Use the same login information you use to sign into Spotify. The app won't be able to see your password or change your billing preferences.

  4. 4

Tap AGREE to give the app permission to view your stats. Spotistats needs permission to view certain aspects of your account to run. If you agree to the permissions displayed on the screen, you can continue.

    • If you don't want to keep using the app in the future, you can go to //spotify.com/account to remove the app's access to your account.

  5. 5

Tap the graph icon to view your top listening stats. It's the second icon at the bottom. This is where you'll find your top tracks, artists, and albums from different time periods.

    • You can change the time period by tapping 4 weeks, 6 months, or lifetime at the bottom of the screen.
    • If you upgrade to the Plus version of the app, you can see your stats between two dates of your choice, as well as see your total listening time/minutes you spend listening to certain artists and songs.

Method 3

  1. 1

Go to //www.last.fm in a web browser. Creating a free Last.FM account lets you track your Spotify habits, including your total number of streaming minutes, by "scrobbling" [or tracking] your listens.

    • You can set up Last.FM to scrobble your Spotify plays on a computer, phone, or tablet.

  2. 2

Create an account. If you don't have an account, click the SIGN UP link at the top-right corner of the screen to set one up now.

  3. 3

Go to //www.last.fm/about/trackmymusic. This takes you to a page with a bunch of options for tracking your music. You don't have to download the Last.FM app to track your listens, so don't click or tap the link to do so.

  4. 4

Scroll down and click Connect under "Spotify." You'll see some information about the type of information Last.FM needs to be able to view for your Spotify account. Last.FM has been around for over a decade and you can trust them to not make changes to your accounts.

  5. 5

Click Agree to continue. This links Last.FM to Spotify. Now that the apps are linked, each track you listen to in Spotify will be scrobbled to Last.FM, which keeps extensive stats on your listening habits.

    • To disconnect Last.FM from Spotify at any time, hover your mouse cursor over your profile photo in Last.FM [or tap the menu if you're using a phone or tablet], click Settings, select Applications, and click DISCONNECT.

  6. 6

Click your profile photo to view your listening stats. If you just set up Last.FM, you won't see much just yet—but as you continue to listen over time, you'll get all sorts of listening stats, including your top artists, albums, and tracks.

  7. 7

Filter your listening stats by time. Last.FM lets you see your top stats for Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 180 days, Last 365 days, and All time.
